TORNATORE EXHIBITION
90 photographs, the expressions on the faces of men, women and children and of the director on the sets of his films. Taormina FilmFest’s celebration of Giuseppe Tornatore ends with a photographic exhibition dedicated to the Sicilian director on the first floor of the Conference Centre. The exhibition, “looking down from the set”, inaugurated on the 16 June will be open to the public until the 15 July.
The exhibition is divided into four sections: the women, the protagonists of his films from Monica Bellucci to Tiziana Lodana to Xenia Rappoport; the men, the great actors of his full-length films from Marcello Mastroianni to Philippe Noiret, Sergio Castellitto to Gerard Depardieu and Roman Polanski to Tim Roth, from Ben Gazzara to Michele Placido. Another section is dedicated to the children, Totò Cascio and Giuseppe Sulfaro. The fourth part is dedicated to Tornatore himself, on the sets of his films, with his actors and behind the camera.
