Turi spends his time in
the sicilian countryside. One
day he meets Lillo, a sheepherder.
Before starting a conversation,
Turi’s father arrives
and ask Lillo some questions.
Lillo tells his story and at the
end the father decides to invite
him at home. During the
dinner Turi’s mother doesn’t
like that young boy. Turi’s father
has a different opinion
about Lillo, in that young he
has saw himself. One night
Lillo’s boss arrives to Turi’s
house asking is they saw his
boy telling them a different
story about Lillo.
:: BIOGRAPHY
PIERO MESSINA Piero Messina attends the
DAMS of University Rome 3.
In 1996 he realized, in collaboration
with Fabio Villia,
the short film Una vita non
basta screened a few years
later at the cinema Politeama
of Caltagirone. In 1999 he
directed a three-minute short
Sinfonie winning a Special
Mention of the Jury in “Libere
Visioni”. The following year
he shot the short Ben Adam,
that participated to the Roman
Short Film Festival
Arcipelago and to the Fano
Film Festival. In 2000 he
met Massimo Lazzara, producer
of Infinity media, planning
the realization of Stidda
ca curri.
