An 8-year girl is playing
in the courtyard of her house
in Brooklyn. A worker is moving
building materials. Her
mother is watching her from
the window. Her eyes cross
those of the worker. She likes
him. A tiny distraction and
their lives change forever.
:: BIOGRAPHY
VINCENZO TRIPODO Born in Messina, in 1968, he
founded the theatrical research
group “Querelle”. In
1986 he specialized in movement
technique, voice, theater-
dance and improvisation.
His last theatrical production,
War in Heaven, written by
Sam Shepard and Joseph
Chaykin, debuted last June at
the BdA of New York. He directed
the lyrical operas
Livietta e Tracollo by Pergolesi
and Don Chisciotte by Martini.
He also directed Sogni siciliani
by Albino Taggeo, Averroè
by Marco Betta and Vite
Immaginarie by Marco Tutino. At the moment he is attending
a Master in Film Production at
the NYU Tisch School of the
Arts. In 1992 he shot the
documentary Calabria winner
of the first award of the Montecatini
Video Festival. In 1994
with Kindsein he took part,
among others, in the Festival
of Torino Young Cinema.
