:: PLOT

The odyssey of an Albanian father on the path of his son who has emigrated to Italy. Albania, post-communism. Niko is an unemployed professor desperately seeking for an honest job. He resists to the temptation of being involved in illegal matters that an old-time friend – now a wellknown delinquent – offers him. He and his family live on the money that his son, Mikel, sends them from Italy. But Niko hasn’t had news from Mikel for a while now and his last letter was blown away with the wind. This and a premonition dream torment Niko. What happened to Mikel? What has become of him? Why does everyone in Albania fear him? Niko has no other choice than to leave for Italy.
