Four prizes won by “L’ora di religione”
Amongst the 34 motion pictures selected and classified in groups
of five candidacies, 12 films only have been awarded by the cinema
journalists.
Four Nastri Awards to L’ora di religione by Marco Bellocchio.
Awards also to “Il più bel giorno della mia vita” by Cristina
Comencini and to Fandango. Robert Altman was conferred
the prize as director of the best foreign film, and the award for
the best emerging director of the year to Paolo Sorrentino and his
“L’uomo in più”. Valeria Golino and Sergio Castellitto
won the Nastri Awards for best protagonist actress and actor, whereas
Margherita Buy, Sandra Ceccarelli, Virna Lisi
and Leo Gullotta won the prizes for best actresses and actor
in supporting roles. European Nastro Award to Pedro Almodovar.
