Sergio Leone's works are the central theme of this documentary that, through the testimony of relatives, friends, and collaborators, traces a profile of the great director. Through the commentary of Leone himself, the documentary focuses on the highlight moments of his poetics, integrating interviews with his wife Carla, and American actors that worked on his films, like Eli Wallach, Rod Steiger, Clint Eastwood, Jason Robards, as well as some of his Italian collaborators, like Dario Argento and Bernardo Bertolucci. Claudia Cardinale and Carlo Verdone depict the great director in his less known connotations.
