Plot:
A young frontier guard sees a young woman, Umur, whilst travelling to his post. Their eyes meet but he walks away. The thought of her haunts him and she appears in his dreams. The following winter they meet and spend a night in an abandoned cottage. A little later, Umur goes to the hospital where she discovers that she's seriously ill. She hides her illness from him and drives him out of her life. The boy resigns his post to travel. On his return, Umur is waiting for him. They decide to live together. After a brief period of happiness, Umur is called back to the hospital. Once again she drives him away without explanation. The boy doesn't lose hope and proposes to her but she refuses him.

Plot:
Tran Van Thuy, a former North Vietnamese War Correspondent brings us on a journey into his own mind and those of the spirits of the millions of Vietnamese who died in the Vietnam War. He meets old friends and enemies and they remember and share their experiences. Through their pasts, we tell the story of five enlisted men and their different experiences during the war. It looks not only at the horrors of the battlefield, but also the camaraderie between the men, and the love ones they left behind. The film takes an alternative look at war through the eyes of a people who fought not for any intellectual principle, but simply for the chance to live a peaceful life with their families.

Plot:
In the basement of an unfinished building, bright spotlights and electrifying pills transport the young guests into another world. Marc, freshly graduated from the police academy, is among those who enjoy music and drugs - until police detective Minks and his people raid the place. Marc can escape, but his jacket is found. The pills he hid in it provide an opportunity for Minks, and his young colleague will face a tough decision: Marc will either work for Minks in homicide, or his career will be finished on drug possession charges. But why would this cynical detective, generally feared for his unconventional methods, want Marc at his side? Soon it becomes clear what Minks is expecting from the cooperation with his party-wise fellow detective. He wants to gain access to a world that is closed to him, a world which swallowed up his daughter Marie two years ago. Marc's investigation leads him to the burnt corpse of a young woman, and several other leads direct him to a series of other murder cases, which all have one thing in common: the perpetrator seems to dissect his victims with a scalpel because all of them are missing large pieces of skin.

For years Andris has been living a passionate and blessed second life. The scene is Poland. Pretending o be making business trips, he has been spending half the year in Cracow, with Bea, a beautiful young woman and a church-painter. In Pest he is a talented businessman, in Cracow an excellent artist.

Plot:
It's been six months since Rachel Siprien disappeared. At the request of Rachel's mother, private detective François (Thierry Lhermitte) takes over the investigation. The young woman's personality, complex and multi-faceted, is part of a strange network made up of her best friend Clarisse (Marion Cotillard), her ex-boyfriend, her stepfather, her neighbors and everyone who knows her well or even slightly. François begins to frequent these various friends and acquaintances, and penetrates Rachel's daytime and nocturnal habitat. He spies, asks disturbing questions, and fills in the blanks intentionally left by those he questions. His private life, already well complicated by an ex-wife and a mistress with a jealous husband, gets even more complicated by an affair with Clarisse and by problematic relations with the police when Rachel's body is found.

All or Nothing is set on a London working-class housing estate over a long weekend, and also tells the stories of a range of Phil and Penny's neighbors, some of whom become involved in the family's lives.

Sunday tells the story of an infamous day in Derry, North of Ireland, and how the events of that day were subsequently covered up by the British Conservative Government, under Edward Heath. On Sunday 30th January 1972 a peaceful civil rights march against internment (imprisonment without trial), organized by the Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association (NICRA) ended with 13 marchers shot dead and 15 wounded. It became known throughout the world as Bloody Sunday, an event that was to be a defining moment in Irish/British relations

He does not believe in anything and his life is free-fall. He, too, is in a moral coma. A young girl who is about to marry discovers that she has AIDS, and decides not to tell the groom. A group of unknown men pursue the doctor to take revenge. They, too, are in a coma of hate. A House Built on Water is the story of a society in a collective coma. A cry for help and a search for solution for a nation that 65 percent of its population are under 25. Is there any hope? Yes, but at what price?
