Joe and Sally Therrian have a party to celebrate several important
junctures in their marriage: their 6th anniversary, their decision
to start a family and their reconciliation after a yearlong separation.
They have invited their closest friends, their past current temptations,
and (to avoid a lawsuit) their contentious neighbours.
An unexpected gift sends the party spiralling out of control and
unleashes an explosion of painful confessions.
Alan Cumming
Alan Cumming was born in 1965 in Perthshire, Scotland. He
attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow
where he studied drama for three years.
Alan made the transition from stage to screen with the film Prague,
then Circle of Friends (1995) and Emma. Cumming played a major supporting
role in the comedy Romy and Micheles High School Reunion and
also co-starred in the unusual tale of a woman and the gorilla who
loved her, Buddy.
1998 saw Cummings return to the stage, in the Tony Award-winning
revival of Cabaret. Cumming returned to the screen with a supporting
role in Stanley Kubricks Eyes Wide Shut.
